On Sunday at 6:41 p.m. the National Weather Service released a winter weather advisory in effect until Monday at 7 p.m. for Chenango County.

The weather service states to expect, "Total snow accumulations of 3 to 7 inches, highest amounts over the higher terrain. Winds gusting as high as 45 mph."

"Plan on slippery road conditions. The hazardous conditions could impact the Monday morning and evening commutes," comments the weather service. "Slow down and use caution while traveling.
