DEDHAM, Mass. —

Brian Walshe is set to return to court Monday, with jury selection in his upcoming murder trial slated to begin on Tuesday.

Walshe is accused of murdering his wife, Ana Walshe, a 39-year-old mother of three, who went missing around New Year's Day in 2023. Investigators originally conducted a search for her in the area around her Cohasset home and a townhouse in Washington, D.C., where she worked.

Prosecutors believe her body was dismembered, but the remains were never found.

Last week, a judge found Walshe competent to stand trial after undergoing a 20-day evaluation at Bridgewater State Hospital.

If jury selection goes according to schedule, Walshe's trial could start Dec. 1.
