The mishap occurred at 2:20 pm when the vehicles collided at the intersection of the Cedar Bluff Road and Powell Drive.

The drivers were shaken up and check out at the scene by Atrium Floyd EMS.

Both the Buick and the Ford F250 pickup truck had to be towed from the scene.

The Centre Police and Fire Departments were on the scene with Atrium Floyd EMS.
