COLUMBUS, Ga. (WTVM) - A 31-year-old man has died following a shooting at a Columbus hotel, according to the Columbus Police Department.

Law enforcement officers responded to the Budgetel Inn & Suites on Victory Drive following reports of the shooting around 7:19 p.m.

Police have not released the victim’s identity or any other details about the circumstances surrounding the shooting.

The investigation is ongoing.
