AMERICUS, Ga. (WTVM) - Officers in Americus are searching for the person responsible for a deadly overnight shooting.

Officers responded to reports of gunshots just after one a-m on Pine Street.

17-year-old Brandon Brown and 20-year-old Royce Arizmendi were both transported to the hospital with gunshot wounds.

Brown was later pronounced dead.
