STOWE, Vt. (WCAX) - Snow sprinkled the ski town Sunday, drawing mostly positive reactions from locals as the winter season approaches.
“I’m excited for it, winter is my favorite season,” said Fen Chidesder of Morrisville.
Andrew Hall of Burlington shared the enthusiasm.
“Yeah I’m super excited,” Hall said.
Not everyone was completely thrilled with the weather change.
“I love looking at it, hate driving in it,” said Michaela Gilblair of Morrisville.
Baristas from the Black Cap Bakery off Main Street said they had a busy fall, but November typically brings a slowdown.
“Most of November has been pretty slow, like it is right now, pretty much empty,” Chidesder said.
Once the mountains open, business changes dramatically.
