It's amazing what can be done with little plastic bricks that connect with each other.
Some amazing examples could be seen Sunday at the 2nd annual Lego Brick Convention at the Sid Cutler Pavilion at Balloon Fiesta Park.
What is most often thought of as a creative children's toy is capable of much more in the hands of an adult or an exceptionally facile youngster of almost any age.
Nate Iverson of Albuquerque came to the convention with an ambitious creation -- Greek monasteries on a cliff, his first project in micro scale.
Iverson started building with Legos when his daughter was young, and when she got older, he started deconstruction of some of the many things he's made for her. That didn't last long.
