Toms Brook Town Council members and residents have spent recent months restoring the town’s 30-year-old holiday decorations, an effort that mixed thrift with teamwork and a touch of seasonal pride.
Shared in a presentation last week to the Toms Brook council, volunteers stripped the metal frames, repainted them and rewired each piece with new LED lights. The 15 refurbished decorations, 6-foot-tall bells, candles and snowflakes, will go up on Main Street light poles over Thanksgiving weekend and stay through March, giving the town’s main corridor a brighter look for the winter months.
