Frederick County Public Schools Superintendent George Hummer will host three upcoming town hall meetings to discuss the division’s proposed Capital Improvements Plan (CIP), which outlines priorities for school construction, renovation, and facility upgrades, according to an FCPS media release.

“The meetings will provide families, staff, and community members an opportunity to learn about current facility needs, review proposed projects, and share feedback before the plan is finalized and presented to the School Board,” the release states.

The meetings will be:

• Wednesday, Nov. 19 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Sherando High School

• Wednesday, Dec. 3 from 5:30-7 p.m. at James Wood High School (This event will be livestreamed.)

• Wednesday, Dec. 10 from 5:30-7 p.m. at Millbrook High School
