In his second week as play caller for the Detroit Lions, coach Dan Campbell is getting a real test in trying to crack the defending Super Bowl champion Philadelphia Eagles.

The first half didn’t go quite to plan as the Lions totaled 144 yards, but didn’t put up any points until the final five minutes of the first half.

Trailing 13-6 at halftime, Campbell spoke on the NBC broadcast about his team’s first-half performance and what might need to change for the Detroit offense.

“Well (the Eagles are) doing a good job out there defensively,” Campbell said. “We invested a lot to get our pass game going there a little bit.

“Defense doing a hell of a job. We took a couple risks there that didn’t work out. The team knew that could happen, but we’re playing good, we found a little rhythm there o
