Pedestrian dies after being struck by vehicle at Sutro and East Sixth

A pedestrian died after being struck by a vehicle the evening of Sunday, Nov. 16 at Sutro and East Sixth streets in Reno.

Emergency crews responded around 5:34 p.m. The pedestrian was taken to a local hospital and died shortly after, police said.

The driver stayed at the scene and cooperated with the investigation. Police said speed and impairment do not appear to be factors.
