The Prince and Princess of Wales are set to grace a grand annual event this week, as announced by Kensington Palace. Prince William and Kate have been confirmed as the Royal guests of honour at the Royal Variety Performance at the Royal Albert Hall on Wednesday evening.

This year's spectacle will be presided over by Jason Manford, with performances from artists such as Jessie J. The evening will also feature a special 40th-anniversary celebration of the musical Les Misérables, along with performances by the cast of Paddington The Musical and Just For One Day, the West End show based on Live Aid, featuring Sir Bob Geldof and Midge Ure.
