A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of terrorism offences in Coventry . He was detained in the city today (November 17).

Police arrested the 18-year-old in a pre-planned operation this morning. He was detained at an address in Finham .

Detectives arrested the boy on suspicion of encouraging terrorism and distributing written material which is threatening, abusive or insulting with the intent to stir up racial hatred. He remains in custody for questioning.
