Solihull binman 'needs a raise' after locals catch moment on camera

Most of the time, binmen get a bad rap. Their trucks are noisy and can clog up roads – and that's not the only issue people moan about. Sometimes, workers leave bins down the road, causing a wild goose chase in your local area. And occasionally, rubbish can drop out of the truck and be left to rot in the street.

However, there are plenty of refuse collectors who do a brilliant job. And that's definitely the case for this Solihull-based binman, who took great care over his job and has since gone viral on social media.

People say that he "needs a raise" for being so caring about the area. And he was dubbed a " local hero" by a woman who filmed a 22-second clip of the hardworking man and posted it onto TikTok .

She captioned the video: "Not all heroes wear capes! Thank yo
