Blue Eagles FC goalkeeper Elias Missi has announced his retirement from football.

The announcement was made through a message posted on his Facebook page, where Missi stated that it was time for him to retire from the game.

He said he had given his all to football, but due to factors beyond his control, he had decided to step away from the sport.

Missi is regarded as one of the most renowned goalkeepers in the country and has also played for Bangwe All Stars and Ekhaya FC during his career.
