Harford County Executive Bob Cassilly expressed strong opposition to Maryland’s congressional map redrawing and budget deficit handling.
Cassilly spoke on the C4 and Bryan Nehman Show Monday morning. When asked about the controversy surrounding redistricting, Cassilly said Maryland has big challenges.
“It may look good for those running for national politics, but for people who are focused on the state of Maryland and what’s right for Maryland, this is just crazy,” Cassilly said.
Cassilly also spoke about Maryland’s budget deficit, which has increased to $1.4 billion, significantly higher than expected. The county executive believes lawmakers can close the deficit without raising taxes.
