DES MOINES, Iowa (Gray News) - A school employee in Iowa resigned after repeating a racial slur a student used while reporting it to a discipline coordinator, The Des Moines Register reported.
The Des Moines Register reported that Anne Eslinger was forced to resign from Lincoln High School in May.
She was monitoring students in a study hall when one of the students started harassing and calling another student a racial slur.
Eslinger asked the student to stop before taking the student to the student services center. The student continued to use the racial slur at the student services center even after Eslinger asked them to stop.
