QUINCY, Indiana — A 15-year-old boy in Owen County is being charged as an adult for allegedly murdering his father and great uncle on Aug. 9.
Grantham Chandler , 43, and Jeffrey Fauber , 61, were both found shot and killed in the driveway of a home in the 1500 block of Turesdel Road in Quincy, which is an unincorporated town about five miles southeast of Cloverdale.
An Owen County deputy arrived at the scene of the shooting at 3:42 p.m. As Indiana State Police were preparing to respond, they were told 15-year-old Jeremiah Dill had turned himself at a Martinsville Police station saying a crime had happened.
"I killed my family," Dill allegedly told an officer at the station. "I killed my father."
When another officer approached Dill, the teen reportedly said, "I'm fighting demons."
