MESA, AZ (AZFamily) — A small airplane crashed along an East Valley canal road on Monday morning.

Details are still limited. Crews responded around 8:30 a.m. to the reported plane crash on the canal access road near Greenfield and McKellips roads , which is southwest of Falcon Field Airport.

The plane crashed into the wall dividing the canal from private property.

Mesa police said an initial report found that neither of the two aircraft occupants was injured.
