The next Pittsburgh mayoral administration is starting to take shape as Mayor-elect Corey O’Connor announced five new appointees Monday morning.
Building on the picks Mr. O’Connor has already announced, the newest staff members bring a mix of experience from past jobs in government, nonprofits and the corporate sector.
Continuing with an emerging theme of bringing on people from previous administrations, Mr. O’Connor has tapped James Hill to serve as an assistant chief of staff. Mr. Hill has most recently been working as the director of government affairs for the Pittsburgh Cultural Trust, but prior to that, served as an executive assistant to Mayor Bill Peduto from 2015 until Mr. Peduto left office in 2022.
