It looks like fall will be on hold this week as temps climb to spring-like levels. We’re expecting upper 70s to lower 80s and that could mean record warmth for some areas. Our next chance for rain will move into the area Friday into Saturday. It doesn’t look like any significant rainfall and there’s no severe storm threat at this point.

In the meantime, a mainly clear sky with temps cooling into the lower to mid 40s overnight. That will lead to a chilly start to Tuesday but ample sunshine will allow temps to recover in the upper 70s to around 80 degrees by the afternoon.

A weak disturbance will brush our area Wednesday. We expect a few more clouds overhead but that’s about it. Temps will continue to climb and we could see lower 80s for highs Wednesday afternoon. Overnight temps w
