ENGLAND, Ark. — The England Police Department has confirmed that a local high school assistant principal has been accused of and arrested on rape, sexual assault, and grooming charges.
According to city police, Trent Morgan — who's listed on the school's website as a student success principal and coach — was arrested at the school after a report came in to the school resource office from a student.
Following the report, the England police were contacted, and authorities in Lonoke County arrested Morgan at the school.
The Lonoke County Sheriff's Office said that the allegations involve "sexual misconduct involving a juvenile student" and confirmed that Morgan was transported to the Lonoke County Detention Facility.
