LOUISVILLE, Ky. — University of Louisville head football coach Jeff Brohm addressed threats made against him nearly a week after a Texas man was accused for the crime.
Brohm revealed during UofL football’s media briefing on Monday he received a direct message after Louisville’s overtime loss against California but was limited in what he could say.
“I’m not going to repeat what was said because it was not good,” he said.
Last week, Brian Mandel was indicted by a Jefferson County grand jury on six counts of terroristic threatening (2nd degree) and one count of criminal attempt theft by extortion over $1,000.
Mandel is accused of making threats toward Brohm’s family, including brother and offensive coordinator Brian Brohm and quarterback Miller Moss on Nov. 8 and Nov. 9.
