OMAHA, Neb. (WOWT) - The man charged in a shooting in the Old Market last month will go to trial.
Khyre Holbert, 31, faces assault and weapons charges.
A criminal complaint also alleges the gun used in the shooting is a match for one used in other crimes in Nebraska.
Prosecutors allege Holbert tried getting rid of the gun before law enforcement found it.
Hobler was sentenced to two decades in federal prison in 2018 but got out in January after serving seven years before former President Joe Biden commuted his sentence.
Holbert is being held on $250,000 bond.
