TRAVERSE CITY — Goodwill Northern Michigan should be able to move ahead with planned renovations at a Munson Avenue hotel-turned-affordable housing.
City commissioners on Monday unanimously agreed to recommit to offering the nonprofit a payment-in-lieu-of-taxes agreement for East Bay Flats for 15 years. They also agreed to a future discussion of just how much property tax revenue the city is willing to forego to help create affordable and workforce housing.
