MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) - A mix of precipitation is expected across southern Wisconsin early today. Some spots toward the state line will see only rainfall.
Farther to the north, a mix of rain and snow will be likely with areas north and northwest of Madison picking up some slushy accumulation. Some spots may see as much as an inch or two.
There is a Winter Weather Advisory in effect early today for counties in Central Wisconsin. All of this precipitation is due to a wave of low pressure passing through southern Illinois. It will move quickly off to the east of here today.
The precipitation will come to an end during the morning. Dry,
