LEXINGTON, Ky. (WKYT) - Interstate 64 will be closed in both directions in Franklin County for part of the day Tuesday, Nov. 18.

The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet District 5 says the right lanes running east and west will be closed from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. due to routine bridge inspections over KY 420 near mile point 53.

The inspections were initially scheduled for October but had to be moved due to weather.

The cabinet suggests drivers use caution, expect delays and heed signage in the work zone.
