A 4.4-magnitude earthquake shook California’s Central Coast early Tuesday, rattling indoor objects.

The U.S. Geological Survey reported the quake struck near Templeton at a depth of 5.7 kilometers around 9:54 a.m.

The temblor was strong enough to cause noticeable shaking of objects inside buildings.
