Dozens of people were arrested at a city centre protest in support of the proscribed group Palestine Action.

The demonstration, organised by activist group Defend Our Juries, was held in front of Nottingham Central Library on Carrington Street on Tuesday afternoon (November 18).

More than 50 police officers were deployed to the protest in support for the now proscribed group, Palestine Action.

The organisation was proscribed by the government in July, making it illegal to show any support or affiliation to them.

This includes displaying placards with slogans indicating support for the group.
