The Arson Bomb Squad is investigating a residential fire that occurred in Wantagh on Tuesday, November 18, 2025 at 8:41 am. According to detectives, Seventh Precinct police responded to a Beech Street residence for a fire. Upon arrival, police observed the rear side of the house engulfed with flames. The Wantagh fire department along with neighboring fire departments responded to extinguish the flames. The first and second floor of the home suffered extensive damage. The home was unoccupied and no injuries were reported. The Nassau County Fire Marshall and the Nassau County Arson Bomb Squad responded to the scene. The investigation is ongoing.
