A man has been arrested after a major emergency service response was scrambled to an Edinburgh high-rise building when a fire broke out on Tuesday afternoon.
The alarm was raised at around 1.45pm on Tuesday, November 18 at Restalrig House, where dramatic video footage captured smoke pouring from the windows of an upper-floor flat.
Photos from the scene show multiple fire engines, ambulance and police vehicles lining the street as crews battled the blaze.
The Scottish Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) confirmed that seven appliances were sent to the incident as part of a large-scale operation. One person was passed into the care of the Scottish Ambulance Service.
