As the field for the 2025-26 College Football Playoff begins to come into focus, there are several teams that are near locks to make it.

Undefeated and No. 1 Ohio State. Unbeaten and No. 2 Indiana. The Texas A&M Aggies, the Georgia Bulldogs and the Texas Tech Red Raiders. All five of those teams have at least a 90% chance to make the playoff, according to ESPN’s playoff predictor.

Then there are a few teams whose odds to make the 12-team field are above 80%: the Ole Miss Rebels, Oregon Ducks and Alabama Crimson Tide.

The odds dip after that, however, and it’s more difficult to predict which teams will nab the final playoff spots. There are several bubble teams that might be on the outside looking in as of this week but that could bust their way into the playoff party if things fall
