After weeks of silence following the debut of , CBS’ new spinoff of his long-running police drama , Tom Selleck has addressed whether fans of the show can expect to see his patriarch Frank Reagan in a cameo.

After 14 successful seasons on the air was unceremoniously cancelled by the network in 2023. But earlier this year, CBS announced that one of the characters would continue on — Donnie Wahlberg’s Danny Reagan — in a Boston-centred continuation.

During press rounds to promote the new offshoot, Wahlberg hinted that could bring back some of his collaborators in guest spots.
