WASHINGTON — The Sculpture Garden Ice Rink is gliding back to the National Gallery of Art this winter.
The rink will open Nov. 24. Depending on the weather, it is expected to run through March 1, 2026.
The rink will operate seven days a week; hours on Sunday through Thursday will be from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays, it will open from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m.
The rink is located in the National Gallery's Sculpture Garden between 7th and 9th streets along Constitution Ave.
Skating sessions begin on the hour and last 45 minutes. $15 will get visitors over the age of 13 two 45-minute sessions. For those who need to rent skates, they're available for an additional $7. But the lockers are free, on a first-come, first-served basis.
