Several train lines across Perth are back in action but could still be delayed after a carriage carrying passengers derailed on Monday afternoon.
The Airport, Ellenbrook and Midland lines were all cancelled between Perth and Redcliffe, Perth to Morley, and Perth to Bassendean about 3.30pm on Monday.
The incident also caused delays on the Fremantle line and was expected to impact running schedules into the night.
On Tuesday just after 5am, the Public Transport Authority said all lines were running but warned there may be delays.
“Airport, Ellenbrook, Midland and Fremantle Lines Services resume,” they said in a statement posted to X.
“Passengers may experience minor delays as trains return to the normal timetable.”
A “technical issue” was causing further delays to the running schedule
