GRESHAM, Ore. — Gresham police are asking the public for tips after a puppy was stolen.

Shortly before 10:30 p.m. on Monday, officers responded to a robbery report in the 100 block of West Powell Boulevard, where a man reported that he had been attacked by strangers, three other men and a woman.

The victim said one of the suspects then loaded his 9-month-old German Shepherd/Rottweiler mix, Shayla, into what appeared to be a white Chevy Tahoe before all suspects got in the car and drove off.

Police did not give the victim's current condition or descriptions of the suspects.
