Traitors star Celia Imrie made a surprise appearance as she stepped onto a Coventry stage, shocking the audience. Film-lovers at Warwick Arts Centre had just watched a screening of In the Bleak Midwinter which stars Celia.

The actress, who was part of the cast of Celebrity Traitors, walked on stage as the credits rolled to gasps and cheers from the audience. She was there to share news of a £10,000 National Lottery funding boost for the venue.

Celia's son Angus studied English Literature and Theatre Studies at the University of Warwick and is now an actor in his own right. Celia was a household name before Celebrity Traitors, which was the most watched television programme of the year so far.
