An Emporia man arrested last week on multiple sex crimes and a human trafficking charge made his first court appearance Monday in Lyon County District Court.
Patrick Dewayne Rosenberg, 42, faces 10 criminal counts, according to the complaint filed in the case. The charges include aggravated human trafficking, aggravated sexual battery, indecent solicitation of a child, three counts of commercial sexual exploitation of a child, and two counts each of contributing to a child’s misconduct and furnishing alcohol to a minor.
The alleged victim is a minor born in 2008.
Rosenberg is represented by court-appointed attorney Paul Dean. He remains in the Lyon County Jail on a $50,000 bond.
A preliminary hearing is scheduled for Dec. 17.
