Police appealed for a hit-and-run driver who killed a cyclist on Midland dual carriageway to come forward as the victim was named.

Israr Hussain from Coventry, was discovered on the southbound carriageway on the A46 between Stoneleigh and Kenilworth, on Tuesday, November 11.

The 55-year-old was found with serious injuries on the road, which links Coventry with Warwick and the M40, at around 9.20pm.

He died at the scene despite the efforts of police and paramedics giving CPR.
