COLLEGE PARK, Ga. — College Park's city council this week suddenly terminated the contract of city manager Lindell Y. Miller, who had been appointed to the role after "serving with excellence" as the interim city manager.

Miller, in turn, had been the interim city manager since Dr. Emmanuel Adediran was terminated in May .

And Dr. Adediran had taken over the position after Stanley Hawthorne was terminated in January 2024. And Hawthorne had taken over after Darnetta Tyus was fired after four months on the job in June 2022.

This latest move will now be the fourth change in the position since 2022, requiring a fifth person to hold the job in the last three-and-change years.
