GRAND HAVEN, MI - The Midwest Miniatures Museum will close for the season beginning Dec. 29, and reopening April 1, 2026, as the museum undertakes an expansion project.

During this temporary closure, the museum’s team will be at work expanding exhibits to the second floor of the historic Robbins House, offering visitors even more to explore when the museum reopens in the spring.

This expansion will feature pieces from the Kaye Collection, alongside new installations that highlight the storytelling and artistry of fine-scale miniatures.

“Not only will this closure provide an opportunity to show exciting new pieces, but it also gives us an opportunity to develop more programming to better engage and serve our community,” said Chris Green, executive director of the museum.
