WASHINGTON — A woman is in the hospital after running her car into an American Girl Doll store in Tysons.
On Wednesday, officers with the Fairfax County Police Department were called to the 8000 block of Tysons Corner Center just after 3 p.m. for reports of a car crash.
The driver of the car was taken to a local hospital with injuries. Her current condition is unknown.
The cause of the accident has not been released at this time.
We sent a crew to the scene, and men could be seen boarding up the store. When our crew arrived just after 6 p.m., the store had been closed early.
We reached out to the American Girl Doll corporation to see if the store will reopen on Thursday. We are waiting for a response.
