WOOD VILLAGE, Ore. — Multnomah County sheriff's deputies are investigating after a driver crashed a vehicle into a Chipotle restaurant in what authorities believe was an intentional act.
The incident occurred at approximately 7 p.m. Wednesday at the Chipotle at 920 Northeast Wood Village Drive, according to the Multnomah County Sheriff's Office.
Deputies said a person drove a vehicle into the front of the restaurant. The driver then backed the vehicle out and left the scene.
No one was injured, and there was no critical structural damage, according to the sheriff's office. However, damage to the facade and windows forced the restaurant to close.
Deputies said they have information suggesting the crash was intentional and likely involved known parties. The motive remains under investiga
