Two people have been taken to hospital after a crash in Aberdeen amid severe snow chaos across the city.

Wellington Road has been shut northbound between the West Tullos Road roundabout and the Abbotswell Road junction following a collision between a car and a pedestrian.

The incident was reported to emergency services at around 6.30am on Thursday, with crews currently in attendance.

Two people have since been taken to hospital for treatment with their conditions currently unknown.

Police have urged motorists to avoid the area.
