WALTERBORO, S.C. (WCSC) — Walterboro Police are investigating a shooting that sent three victims to the hospital earlier this week.

Colleton County Fire-Rescue crews responded Tuesday around 8:25 to a home on the 100 block of Margaret Street in Walterboro following reports of a shooting.

Dispatch learned that all three victims were inside the home when suspects started shooting at the home from outside. Gunfire hit both the building and the people inside.

Fire-Rescue crews treated all three patients at the scene, with Walterboro Police applying a tourniquet to one male victim.

One victim was flown to the trauma center at HCA Trident Hospital in North Charleston while the other two men were taken for treatment at the emergency department of HCA Colleton Hospital in Walterboro.
