BOWLING GREEN, Ky. – One man is facing several charges after allegedly leaving the scene of an accident in Bowling Green.
According to a uniform citation, the Bowling Green Police Department responded Wednesday to a hit and run at the intersection of Louisville Road and West Riverview Drive.
Upon arrival, police say a driver stated they were rear ended while stopped in traffic, resulting in the car that hit them losing its bumper.
Initially, the driver of the car that was hit stated the other driver pulled over, however, that driver fled when they saw police lights, according to the citation.
Police say they were given a picture of the vehicle’s registration and were able to respond to a residence.
The driver of the vehicle that fled was identified as 35-year-old Wilondja Rogacien.
