TOWN OF RANDOLPH, COLUMBIA COUNTY (WKOW) -- The emergency response teams for the Columbia County Sheriff's Office and the Sauk County Sheriff's Office worked together to arrest a homicide suspect at a home in the Town of Randolph Thursday morning.
Law enforcement took the suspect into custody around 9 a.m.
According to the Columbia County Sheriff's Office, people in neighboring homes and the Cambria-Friesland Schools were told to shelter in place during the operation as a precaution.
Authorities did not identify the suspect or say when or where the homicide happened.
Several agencies assisted in the operation, including Dells-Delton EMS, Reedsburg EMS, Cambria EMS, Cambria Fire Department, Madison Police Department, ATF and the Columbia County Highway Department.
