Scots who lost loved ones during the pandemic have welcomed the damning inquiry report into the handing of covid . ‌

Baroness Hallett’s report said chaos at the heart of the UK Government and a failure to take covid seriously cost 23,000 lives in the first wave. ‌

Former prime minister Boris Johnson was said to have presided over a “toxic” culture in Number 10 while Nicola Sturgeon was accused of sidelining her SNP cabinet . ‌
