BRUNSWICK, Ohio (WOIO) - A 22-year-old man is under arrest after Brunswick police say he led officers on a chase and crashed.
Officers say they spotted Ja’Vaughn Sanders on Nov. 8 and attempted to pull him over.
The department already knew of him, according to police, since a warrant was issued for his arrest on Aug. 3.
Instead of stopping, officers say Sanders took off from the area of 1400 block of Clearbrooke Drive.
The Cleveland man crashed in a parking lot of a nearby business and was taken into custody, police say.
Officers added they recovered a gun from his car.
Sanders is locked up in the Medina County Jail on charges stemming from both incidents.
