MONROE — A former basketball coach for Toledo Public Schools has been found guilty of five counts of criminal sexual conduct in the 38th Circuit Court in Monroe.
A jury on Wednesday found Tareem Warren, 47, guilty of three felony and two misdemeanor charges. The charges center around his conduct with a teen between 13 and 15 years old.
Toledo Public Schools confirmed Warren worked for the district from November, 2020, through March, 2024. He coached basketball at Start and Woodward high schools.
He is scheduled to be sentenced on Jan. 15.
